BET Awards have goofed big time when they posted Strongman’s image instead of Sarkodie’s, in an attempt to wish Sarkodie on his birthday.
The tweet from the Awards scheme read “Sending Birthday love to @sarkodie, enjoy your day bro.”
But unfortunately, the image under the caption was that of Strongman and not Sarkodie. Now this raises some important questions and has gained much attention on social media, especially twitter.
Could this blunder have been intentional on the part of BET, as Sarkodie has been a recipient of their awards before, and they therefore have no excuse to claim that they don’t know his face? Or is it that they are just lazy to do diligent journalism or writing?
