The final funeral rites for late comedian, Bob Okala has been postponed from May 6 and 7 to June 10 this year, a family member of the deceased has disclosed.
The decision to reschedule Okala’s funeral was as a result of the upcoming Homowo Festival, which clashes with the burial of the veteran comedian.
Family and the funeral committee thought it wise to postpone the event to give the departed a befitting burial.
Bob Okala who died at age 64 will be buried at the Osu Cemetery after the funeral ceremony at the Arts Centre in Accra.
The popular Ghanaian comedian, born Samuel Kwadwo Buabeng, passed away at the Koforidua Hospital on Sunday, March 13 after he collapsed on stage during a carnival at the Koforidua Jackson Park.
