Okyeame Kwame’s OK Stripped concert which was scheduled to come off last week Friday at the +233 Jazz Bar and Grill has now been moved to May 8, at the same venue.
The show had to be postponed because the Rap Dacta made a trip to the Seychelles Island as a member of the Ghanaian delegation that accompanied the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Minister of Tourism, Culture and the Creative Arts, Mrs Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare to the Carnival International de Victoria.
Now that he is back, the Woara rapper is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that this Friday’s gig will be one to be cherished by his numerous fans.
According to Okyeame, the OK Stripped concert aims at giving his fans the chance to ask him whatever questions they have and also request any of his songs at the live band event.
“In effect, they are going to “strip me naked’’ and I have some of my colleagues like Rex Omar, M.anifest, Stone, Efya, X.O.Senavoe and others passing through to support me.’’
The video premiere and dropping of a new song, Mere Twen Wo, will also be held at the show.
The MOGO 2014 Artiste of the Year and his team said they are really excited about the upcoming show and if his Versatile Show is anything to go by, then OK Stripped will be another success story for him.
Over the years, the Rap Dacta has collaborated with some of the nation’s finest artistes such as Tinny, TicTac, Nana Acheampong and Daddy Lumba.
Faithful, Try Another Time, Woso and Sika are some of his well-known songs.
