German born, UK based Ghanaian singer-songwriter and multi genre artiste Rashelle Blue has released her latest single – Mempɛ BasaBasa featuring ‘the man with the voice’ Bisa Kdei.
After releasing her debut single Ajeii ft. missing afrobeats legend Castro, the singer has been working on new materials for her fans.
The song is produced by UK based hit maker BoatzMadeIt who also produced Kwamz & Falva’s banger Wo Onane No.
Mempɛ BasaBasa is a twi phrase which literally means ‘I don’t like bad behaviour’ and as the title suggests, the singer is trying to convey the fact that she doesn’t appreciate bad behaviour throughout the song. Bisa Kdei also gives it a little love twist by singing to a loved one telling her not to treat him badly.
The song was initially titled BasaBasa when the online promo was published on YouTube on the 25th of August, 2014. But another artist hi-jacked the title and beat her to it with the release of his song with the same title, forcing her to amend her title to Mempɛ BasaBasa to avoid any confusion with that song.
Rashelle Blue promised her fans a banger so get your dancing shoe and party to this lovely tune.
Watch out for the video coming out soon.
