The sad news filtered into the air few minutes past 4pm on Sunday, that the fast rising Theophilus Tagoe, aka CASTRO had give up the ghost after drowning at a resort in Ada estuary, where he, his childhood friend, who doubles as Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan and couple of friends went to catch fun.
While another report claims he went ‘missing’ during a Jet Ski ride with a female friend, who is also at large, and identity unknown.
It came as a surprise to thousands of his fans, entertainment writers, and his colleagues in the industry, as no one expected such a fast rising star to have such an accident that would claim his life or bring such speculation, at a stage where he just started reaping the fruit of his labour.
Information reaching saharaspy.com reveals that local fishermen in the area have been organized to undertake the rescue mission of searching for the Underfire crooner and his female friend.
According to General Manager of Aqua Safari Gerhard Urstrunter’s revelation to Joy News, he said “they lodge in our facility the previous night, and I can assure you that a search is underway for Castro and his female friend who were on the Jet Ski.”
