Police Inspector to drop new banger (song) ‘Seat Belt’

With the kind of work he does, it is just right for police officer, Inspector, Edmond Martey Tei to sing about developmental issues which will bring peace and help build the nation.

Inspector Tei of Motor Transport and Traffic Department (MMTD), Dansoman branch who has to his credit songs —Peace and World Unity and Should Ganja Be Legalised is out with a third single, Seat Belt.Seat Belt, a danceable song recorded by sound engineer, Appietus, talks about the need for individuals especially drivers to be cautious on the road.

Inspector Tei who is not happy with the rampant road accidents in Ghana stated that every driver should put on their seat belt before moving their cars.

According to him in the song, drivers and passengers need to put on their seat belts when driving because their lives are precious to their family members.

He advises passengers to be bold to tell drivers to stop driving fast if they feel they over speeding.
Speaking in an interview with Showbiz, Inspector Tei said he felt the need to educate individuals on road safety.

“I was motivated to do Seat Belt after losing two good friends to road accidents because they failed to put on their seat belts”, he said.

Inspector Tei, 43, who is married with four children disclosed he has more songs on development. “I have written a lot of songs on developmental issues and I intend to gradually release them to educate Ghanaians.

Also, I would love to work with musicians such as Okyeame Kwame, Samini and Nana Ampadu”, he added.
