Ruff and Smooth have stated categorically that they are bigger than Ghanaian hiplife star, Guru in terms of good music and taking Ghana music far.
Their statement follows a recent controversy between them and Guru about their internationally hit song, “Send Your Fire” which has caught the attention of all music lovers.Speaking on Bekwai based radio station, Dess fm on their entertainment show last Saturday with the host Ogee, Bullet of Ruff and Smooth said talking about them and Guru who is a hit in music, they are far ahead of Guru.
He further said Guru is around telling Ghanaians that they(Ruff and Smooth ) want to spoil his image.
“God has already blessed us, but he wants to tell us that it’s through him that our music has come this far. Meanwhile you, Guru, we are bigger than you. I can say that on authority”.
Talking about the amount of money they are demanding from Guru in their sue is $20000 and not $10000 as in the public domain.
“The money we are demanding from him is $20000 and not $10000 as you have already heard. Because the amount we have lost here is $20000.
Even we had already received half of the money the per the terms in the deal. Now we’re to go and pay the money to the organizers since they have cancelled the deal because of what Guru has done.
And don’t forget we have already used the money so where are we going to get this money from. This time that Everyone is hot in Ghana here and you want to take away our daily bread. No matter what, Guru has to pay the money, he should stop the bluffs that he’s making”
Guru recently had a show in Gabon which he performed a song by which he was featured on by Ruff and Smooth, “Send Your Fire”.
Meanwhile according to Ruff and Smooth, he was informed by them earlier before the show not to perform the song since they have a similar show which they are to perform that same song.
According to them(Ruff and Smooth), they have had their deal cancelled because the organisers are saying Guru has performed the song in Gabon so they can’t continue the deal.
This has made Ruff and Smooth trying to take legal action against Guru, demanding $20000 from him.
