A planned Christmas party by hip-life artiste Kwaw Kese for inmates of the Pantang Hospital, hangs in the balance, as the musician continues to spend time in custody awaiting trial.
Kwaw Kese popularly known as ‘Abodam’ in 2009 organized a pre-Christmas bash dubbed ‘Mad Feast’ for inmates and patients at the Pantang Mental Hospital.
The event, which was organized by Mad Time Entertainment, was to give the patients an end of year party to boost their morale.
Kwaw was planning the same party this year.
Kwaw Kese, born Emmanuel Botwe speaking in an exclusive interview with Joy News TV on November 14 prior to his arrest, shared his Christmas plans.
Among them was another party for the patients of the Pantang Hospital and the release of his song, ‘Agona Swedru’.
He promised that this year’s party for the inmates of the hospital will be exciting as he had loads of surprises in stock for them.
Unfortunately, the rapper was arrested on Saturday, November 22 by the police at Nhyiaeso in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. He is currently facing charges for smoking weed.
It is Christmas and Joy News Entertainment desk is wondering if the party for the patients will still see the light of the day.
