Police in the Greater Accra region say they will prosecute “Ekiki Me” singer for exposing his genitals while performing live on stage.
“He is supposed to report when the holidays are over for him to be prosecuted,” the Greater Accra Police PRO, ASP Afia Tenge told Joy News.
The hit singer rendered an unconditional apology to the general public for the act and said he could not explain his ‘rush and irresponsible behaviour’ at the Accra International Conference Centre.
But that did not prevent the police from inviting him.
ASP Afia Tenge said, “He honoured the invitation and the police arrested him and after taking his statement, he was granted bail.”
According to her, the act amounts to gross indecency but said it is too early to determine the charge that would be leveled against him.
